  1. Hi Everyone,

I am happy to bring and set up a communal area at the campsite. I don't know how much of an area we will have to squeeze into.

Jess - any chance of getting a copy/plan of the area we have been allocated?

    I have :
    - 1 of 6m x 3m gazebo
    - 2 of 3m x 3m gazebo
    - A weber BBQ (charcoal)
    - a large barbecue (4 burner)
    -1 x large table (8 - 10 person )
    -2 x medium tables (6 person)
    -20+ folding chairs
    -water containers

  2. If any father and son are interested, I am happy to share our tent. Only Callum and I are going. I have spare decent stretcher beds as well. Just contact me on 0407 20 20 23.

  3. Hi Ross

That all sounds fantastic! I have emailed the teacher at the other campus who is organising the booking with the caravan park, so hopefully he is able to get back to me with more details on the campsite. Apparently it is likely to be very similar, if not the same, as last year (but obviously I did not go last year, so am not able to expand on what that was!).

    Regards
    Jess

  4. The other campuses were originally looking at having a shared communal area, but have decided against that. I am hoping that we will still be able to have our own small central space (so the 3x3m gazebo), but unfortunately we cannot know for sure if there will be enough room for this until we get there. Apparently the space is quite tight.

Ross, I would suggest that your gazebo, large barbecue, chairs and tables to work with that space, and water containers would come in very handy. Our campus should have 12 adults, and 10-12 children.

Sorry that I do not have exact figures on the size of the campsite, I have just not been able to get them.

  5. Hi Jess, I will aim to get there the same time as Tessa on Wednesday so we can make the best of what space we have.

  6. Hi everyone, I was talking to one of the parents who went to Maryborough last year and they mentioned that the camping grounds were very close to the train tracks and in fact it is a freight train which goes through at 2 am and 4 am These times may have changed but if you are a light sleeper it might pay to take some earplugs!!

    Regards Lisa
